In anticipation of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections this year, the West Bengal BJP has scheduled a crucial organizational meeting for Wednesday. The primary objective of the meeting is to mobilize and activate all fronts and mass organizations affiliated with the party in the state. Termed the "joint front meeting," the gathering will include leaders from the state committee as well as office bearers from various party fronts.
State unit chief Sukant Majumdar emphasized that the meeting is a routine engagement with the leadership of all party fronts. However, insiders reveal that the meeting holds significance as many party fronts, except the youth and women's organizations, have been relatively inactive on the streets concerning critical issues facing the state in recent days.
